Fundraising for bereaved family of Nick Francis

My dear friend Nicholas Francis died suddenly on Sunday 15 December 2019. He was just 42 and he leaves behind a fiancé - Sharon Hammond - and three children: two sons aged 1 and 3, and an 11-year old stepson.

Nick’s death leaves his family in a precarious financial situation that will cause them to be uprooted from the family home in the New Year. The family is going through a torrid time already, even without the additional worry and hardship of having to move away from their long-term home so soon after their devastating loss.

As if this wasn’t enough, Nick’s stepson lost his biological father just six months ago. No child should have to contend with such emotional distress and this will be exacerbated if he is forced to leave his home, school and friends.

£12,000 will be enough to allow the family to pay their rent and utility bills for 6 months, feed and clothe the 3 children and meet their car loan repayments.

They certainly do not expect any help but they do need it. Any assistance will mean the world to them, be massively appreciated and help to ease the enormous burden of worry and uncertainty that is dominating their immediate future. They are already grieving the loss of a loved one this Christmas; I would like for us to be able to help them move into 2020 with some stability and positivity to look forward to.
