Dad in Critical Condition

My name is Shawn Philbin. For those of you that don't know me, I hate asking for help, especially financially - however, this time is critical.
On Wednesday, September 23rd, 2020, my dad, Tom, was out for a bike ride in Lavallette, NJ. During my Dad’s bike ride, he was struck by a car on RT 35. He was in the middle of the road, lying unconscious. When first responders arrived, they called in a helicopter to transport him to JSUMC. My Dad is currently in critical condition with severe injuries along with a brain bleed that is not stopping and is getting worse by the day.
As of September 24th, Tom is sleeping most of the day and cannot form sentences at all.
My Dad has been going through one of the toughest times in his life in the past couple of months. He lost his job because of the COVID-19 pandemic, thus losing his health insurance. At 60 years old, I want my dad to be comfortable both financially and physically. Sadly, doctors say it is likely he will suffer permanent brain damage from this freak accident.
