Glasgow Times Bank On Us Toy Appeal

Donation protected

Christmas puts a lot of pressure on families every year, but in 2020 even more so. Thousands of people across Glasgow are facing an added uncertainty this year as the coronavirus pandemic continues to cause business closures and job losses. It's a deeply worrying time for parents and guardians who are doing all they can to make the festive period special for their children. That's where we step in.

This year, we want to alleviate some of that pressure with the Glasgow Times Toy Bank Appeal. We're calling on our readers to help save Christmas for the city's children and make sure no one wakes up without a gift under the tree. On December 4, we'll be giving away a free paper bag with each copy of the Glasgow Times to be filled with goodies and dropped off at either a local toy bank or with one of our corporate sponsors - Storage Vault or A1 Toys. *Due to coronavirus safety protocols, all gifts must be newly bought.

We know not everyone is able to go out and buy a toy to donate therefore we are asking you to donate what you can to this campaign. Proceeds raised will be used to purchase toys. These gifts will be distributed to charities around the city and then down the chimney of little ones. We hope you'll get involved and help to spread a little cheer as we round off this extremely difficult year.
