Help God's Kitchen of Michigan Feed the Hungry with a Mobile Soup Kitchen!

God's Kitchen of Michigan is on a mission to combat hunger and food insecurity in our community. We are a non-profit organization dedicated to providing meals to the homeless, elderly, disabled, low-income individuals and families, veterans, and food insecure college students. In order to expand our reach and serve those in need more effectively, we are seeking to raise $220,000 to purchase and operate a food truck for our mobile soup kitchen.

The mobile soup kitchen will allow us to bring hot, nutritious meals directly to the neighborhoods and locations where the homeless congregate in Kalamazoo, Portage, and Battle Creek. Our goal is to address the pressing issues of hunger and ensure that no one in our community goes without a meal.

Founded in 2011 by Reverend William Stein and the late Joan Lafayette, God's Kitchen of Michigan has been providing free dinner services in Battle Creek. In 2017, we expanded our services to Kalamazoo, and in 2020, we extended our soup kitchen to Portage. Now, with your support, we aim to take our mission to the next level by launching a mobile soup kitchen to reach even more people in need.

Your donation will directly contribute to the purchase and operation of the food truck, allowing us to prepare and serve meals to those who need it most. Together, we can make a real difference in the lives of the less fortunate in our community.
