GRACIE LOUISE TUDOR FOUNDATION

Gracie is the two year old daughter of Claire, our work colleague and friend. She was recently diagnosed with high risk neuroblastoma, a rare cancerous tumour that is treated initially with chemotherapy. This Go Fund Me was originally set up to bring a smile to little Gracie’s face once she is better. Unfortunately, things have taken a turn for the worst and her condition has spiralled. Gracie and her family needed help for specialist treatment within the first month of diagnosis, but following meetings with her UK based Oncology Consultant, Gracie is now receiving treatment closer to home. The family have been told that once Gracie is cured, there is a very high chance that the cancer will return due to a genetic mutation. We are now trying to raise funds to assist with treating this genetic mutation once Gracie is well, so that she can live a long and happy life without the constant fear of the cancer returning. If it did return, her chances of survival would be slim to none, so we cannot allow this to happen. For now, Gracie is putting up the biggest fight to beat this. To give her the best chance of fighting, the family gave their permission for Gracie to enter a clinical trial, but for the first stage of her treatment, the ethical randomisation did not fall in her favour. She gets further opportunities at later stages. The family are also in contact with several organisations and are continually trying to find advances in treatment around the globe. They are such an amazing family. They will not give up and will try every single avenue to get their little girl better.

The family are desperately preparing to have the necessary funds to save their little girl, so if you can give anything big or small, they would be so grateful for your help. If, however, the funds aren’t needed for Gracie, they will be given to Birmingham Children’s Hospital and/or a Child Neuroblastoma charity tbc.

As you can imagine, this is every parents worst nightmare and we want to support them as much as we can through this journey of healing and recovery. Gracie is an amazing, happy, little two year old girl, who loves everything Disney, a real life princess. So let's give this brave little girl every possible chance, as well as supporting Claire, Ste and Katelyn through this difficult journey. Please donate, any amount will help, big or small.
