Update:

Harold passed peacefully in his sleep on July 31, 2019. Harold's wife and daughter wish to express their immense gratitude for the support and contributions received. If you wish to contact his wife or daughter please respect their privacy during this time of mourning by ONLY using the email address provided below rather than contact them directly. As Harold's family transitions to life without him, prepares for his Memorial and review any unpaid medical bills, please continue to emotionally and financially support them during this process. Your generosity is so appreciated.

Dear Watsu/Water Family, Friends and Other Well Wishers~

I have just had the privilege of spending the past five weeks with Harold and his family. Having had the opportunity to learn from Harold (who is the "Father and Creator of Watsu") has been meaningful and joyful for me and so many others. He gave so much of himself to this beautiful bodywork and to see his strength daily has touched me in so many ways. Harold’s patience and surrender during the last phase of his life has been transformative and inspiring. As many of you may know, Harold was diagnosed with recurrent cancer and underwent a total laryngectomy and radiation therapy in the fall of 2018. He is no longer able to speak or enter the water and he can only be fed through a g-tube. In spite of his invasive surgery, the cancer has not been fully eradicated. His health is declining drastically and he is now under hospice care.

The Dull’s roommates (who helped carry the household expenses) are leaving as the family prepares for this personal time. This departure will put an additional strain on the Dull's resources as well as other uncovered expenses related to his illness. It is for this reason and the love we all have for Harold and his family that I ask for any contributions you may be able to provide. These funds would ease the Dull family’s stress during this difficult time, and assist with their household, medical, and end-of-life care expenses for Harold and family.

During my visit Harold expressed immense joy at  the knowledge that Watsu’s healing potential and legacy will continue on with his water family.
