Help a senior recover from scammers
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Rodney. I am a low-wage working senior and have become the victim of a scam (a cryptocurrency scam). I now am in debt for $124000, which amounts to almost everything I saved for retirement. It started with an "investment" that I could afford but when I found out it was a scam, I could not get my money back. I was hoping to help my elderly parents with this "investment". Another organization was supposed to help recover my money by "circulating money in the blockchain" but only ended up ballooning my debt to $125000. I had to borrow from a line of credit with the promise from the scammers that it would all come back to me. That was a lie. I'm trying to pay it back (paid some back) but am afraid I might have to sell the home that I've lived in for 18 years and where my partner passed away in 2016. I can't afford the minimum payments of $650 a month for the next 20 years on top of all of life's other expenses. Any donations would help. My two dogs, Jacky and Nora, and Delilah, my cat, and I thank you.
