Help for the Kiefers, second verse

Baby Vivian (also known by her title, The Best of All Babies) was admitted to Stanford Children’s Hospital about a month ago. She’s suffering from pediatric pulmonary hypertension, which is stressing out her heart and lungs. She may also have lung disease from the damage.

Meanwhile, her dad and brothers are in a local hotel trying to make the best of it. We’re too big a family for the Ronald McDonald House and the kids have a lot of allergies and sensitivities that make the lodging situation complicated. 

This fundraiser is to support the lodging and food costs, which are not insubstantial. This is our second fundraiser of this kind as this is all proving to be costly, despite our being careful. Sorry to ask again. We have no idea when we’ll be discharged. Could be many weeks yet.
