Putting this together on behalf of Janine, loving mother and caring NICU nurse who has been raising her 11-year-old son Jaxon, and their beloved dog Ruby. They have recently experienced a heartbreaking tragedy. After working a night shift caring for newborns in the hospital's NICU, Janine woke up at home to find her apartment at the Helix Apartments in St. Louis Park, MN engulfed in flames. The fire destroyed everything they owned, including Janine’s vehicle parked beneath the exact building that burned down. Janine, Jaxon, and Ruby had just moved into this apartment just weeks before, finally for the first time getting a place for their own. They have lost all their cherished belongings, clothing, household essentials, and precious mementos. Jaxon lost all his toys, games, and the comforts of home, while Ruby’s food and supplies were also lost. Nothing could be saved from the fire before she was evacuated. Luckily nobody was injured and Jaxon and Ruby were staying with family.
The funds raised will help Janine and her family rebuild their lives from the ground up. Donations will go toward replacing clothing, essentials for daily living, toys and games for Jaxon, and supplies for Ruby. Janine also needs support for possible temporary housing, transportation, food, and nursing essentials like scrubs. As an avid plant lover, Janine lost her collection, which brought her joy and comfort. Your support will help restore not only the basics but also the small things that make a house a home.
Janine is known for her kindness and dedication to her son Jaxon and dog Ruby, while also spending night shifts caring for sick children and then waking up to bring Jaxon to boy scouts or summer camp. She is loved by friends and family for her warmth and generosity. She is a loving and supportive girlfriend. This tragedy has left her devastated and lost, and any support you can offer will help them begin to recover and rebuild. On behalf of Janine, Jaxon, and Ruby, and their entire family, thank you so much for any help you can give. Your support would mean the world to their family as they start the difficult journey of rebuilding their home and lives.
