Help Jax The Trader Boy & Family Move

Donation protected
About two years ago I was lucky enough to purchase my own home due to a small inheritance from my moms passing. Between the struggles of being a single mother with three small children and working over 100 hours a week, unfortunately my family and I have fallen on some pretty extreme times. In early December I learned that my vehicle that was sold to me, by a reputable dealership, had an open recall upon sale- along with many other mechanical issues that where not disclosed. Shortly after the vehicle completely broke down. For months throughout winter my family and I had no car and barely any income. A few weeks ago I was able to buy a very used - but working, truck so I could continue to do junk removals (my job) Not even two weeks after purchasing this vehicle, a group of neighborhood kids decided to torment me for nights on end simply because I told them not to hit my son, Jackson, who is noticeably on the spectrum. They have done thousands of dollars worth of damage to my truck, and have  threatened me with 2x4s, bricks and glass bottles. Every time they came , I’d call the cops; and every time the cops got there too late, except on the third night. On the third night, four cops stood around and refused to arrest the kids- during this time the kids circled the cops and I, taunting and harassing us- at one point they even attacked the cops. The cops, still refusing to do anything just kept telling the kids to go home. At which point I asked for a Sargent. Over a half hour later- and more taunting from the kids- the Sargent showed and forced the cops to arrest them- they got two of the six. Since then I have gotten so many death threats I’m scared for my safety and the safety of my kids. We currently live on the north side of Milwaukee in the ‘hood’. Since moving here we’ve heard gunshots daily, they where just never aimed at us before….

Unfortunately I purchased at the peak of the housing bubble and if I where to do a quick sale, I would loose tens of thousands. I’m in no position to loose that much and ever be able to recoup, nor am I able to get a home loan of any sort; so we are stuck unless I can find the difference in what I expect to loose from a quick sale of our current home. Until then, we are stuck being scared. We are stuck looking over our shoulders every time we hear a noise. We are stuck sitting / sleeping on the floor in case bullets come flying through our windows . And we are stuck doing it in the dark since I had to spend every penny I had fixing my truck so I could continue to work- instead of being able to keep our electricity going.

So I am here begging for help- help me afford a house outside of the hood by closing the loss I expect to take by being forced out of what was supposed to be, our ‘forever home’ . Which is expected to be somewhere between $30,000-$45,000. With a quick sale on our current home and help from some caring people- it’d be enough to get us away from the hood, and away from the threat of these children who have decided to target us. Hopefully getting out in time before anything more major happens
