Yesterday afternoon, our friend Katy experienced an unimaginable loss when a devastating fire tore through her apartment building in St. Louis Park, Minnesota. Although she was home on her balcony, she saw the flames and had no time to save any of her belongings. In a matter of moments, she lost everything she owned. Her home, clothing, furniture, personal keepsakes, important documents, and everyday necessities are all gone. Tragically, her vehicle was also destroyed in the fire, leaving her without reliable transportation as she begins the difficult process of rebuilding her life.

As anyone can imagine, starting over from nothing is overwhelming. The funds raised through this campaign will help provide immediate necessities such as temporary housing, clothing, toiletries, food, transportation, medications, replacing important documents, and other essential expenses as she works toward finding a new home and rebuilding what was lost. Every donation, no matter the amount, will make a meaningful difference.
