Help Keelin Get A Car

Hey guys, I'm not proud that I have to do this, but I think I need help.

Last week I was in an accident that totaled my car. I was lucky enough to be able to walk away with a few cuts and bruises, but because of the age and condition the car is in, I'm essentially only getting what it's worth in scrap. I don't have any immediate relatives I can turn to for help - I am completely financially independant, and I'm doing this adult thing on my own.

I am honestly struggling to afford life without a car. When I can't bum rides to work, ubers are $10 - $15 just one way. I am going to have to pay storage fees to the auto body shop holding my vehicle until I can sell it to a salvage yard. I am going to have to pay at least $800 - $1000 for a decent craigslist car to get me to work. I am going to have to pay several hundred in registration and insurance fees to get it street legal. And I can't do this while also paying for rent, utilities, food, and basic life necessities. 

I am so ashamed to have to ask for help. I don't want to do it. I am so stubborn about doing everything on my own. But I am honestly sinking deeper and deeper into a depression I can't pull myself out of over my situation, of just trying to function in an extremely un-pedestrian-friendly city while also living paycheck to paycheck. It's destroying me mentally, and I need to admit that I need help.

I am asking for the bare minimum to help me out. I just need help actually physically getting a car and existing without one until then, while also keeping my head above water. I'm so sorry I need to reach out and beg for help, but anything that can be spared will mean more to me than you could ever know.
