Help keep BluSeed's lights on!

Dear BluFriends and Supporters,

BluSeed is in a dire financial situation and we need your help.

Over the past few years we have received several grants for programs such as ceramics wheel classes for kids, Cinematastic Kids Movie and Art nights, Sober Open Minded-Mics, Trash Couture, Spring Break classes, year long artist in residency program, etc. Plus several grants for capital projects for the regrading of our parking lot to mitigate building flooding, new bike racks, gas kiln shed, building signage, outdoor pavilion, new gallery lighting, a new stage, new flooring, etc. These grants have helped us move forward leaps and bounds, but what none of these do is pay for our mortgage, heating, water, sewer, insurance, electricity, phone, internet, etc. These bills in total for our 7500 square foot building come out to just about $5000.00 per month all year long. We cannot continue with our programming without these bills being paid. We are working on a new vision for how we run our programming and a new fundraising plan for the new year, BUT we need to get through this year first. We are looking to raise $40,000.00 to get us to January. This money will go directly to paying these monthly bills and give us some breathing room to make our changes for financial sustainability.

If we do not raise this money, BluSeed's power will turn off and we will have to close our doors next month.
