Help Launch "Taste" A New Music Magazine

About Taste 

In the UK, there isn’t much visibility for R&B music; especially when it comes to national artists.

Taste is a new platform devoted to uplifting and spreading the work R&B artists are releasing focusing on music coming from the UK as well as the US. We aim to be a place where the genre can have highlighted visibility and a lack of confusion in its surrounding discussion.

I started working on Taste in 2018 creating a concept issue in which I rounded up the music I was listening to that year, I wrote reviews and artist spotlights and crafted a small zine I then posted online.

The Magazine Now

So far, Taste magazine has been branded. Guidelines have been created for the type, colour palette, and image editing in print and online.

The first issue that will launch the magazine has been designed and the content for it has been mapped out. This first issue will specifically spotlight UK R&B artists, high profile and upcoming, as well as reviewing recent UK R&B albums.

How The Crowdfunding Will Help

The donations amassed for Taste will go straight into creating the content for the magazine helping pay for software, writers, photographers and illustrators. As well as starting the printing process for the magazine.
