Help Lee get mobility scooter batteries

I'm 62, a veteran and disabled due to a really messed up leg. (not do to the military though- it was a job accident)  Thanks to having a really bad case of pneumonia last summer my lungs are now damaged to the point I only have 30% use of one and about 50% use of the other.  I do get SSD due to my leg but the doctors have me on medicine now for COPD and it's so expensive I  have almost nothing left after paying for my rent and medicine.  I have a relative helping me with utilities and I've been getting food from the local foodbank. 

My only transportation is a 25 year old mobility scooter and my batteries in it are now so worn out that they won't even take me more than about 2 blocks. I need it to be able to get to the local foodbank.    I'm asking for help to get a new set of batteries  which will be about $175 or so.  I can install then without a problem.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.
