Help Linda Fight Breast Cancer and Brain Surgery

Our beautiful warrior goddess Linda Epp had a pretty big battle ahead of her and we want to help her as best we can.
Linda has been a fixture of Whistler for a number of years and is someone this community truly values. She has worked so hard to bring awareness to Indigenous issues through the Red Dress movement and the Sisters in Spirit Vigil every year. She gives back to people and the sea-to-sky region in a plethora of ways and now it is our turn to help her.
Earlier this year ( 2019) Linda was diagnosed with a brain aneurism. She had a brain surgery scheduled for November 15th but as Linda was gearing up for this surgery she was recently diagnosed with an aggressive form of breast cancer. Unfortunately, her brain surgery will have now to be postponed until after the breast surgery (Nov. 8, 2019), followed by an undetermined amount of time for chemotherapy treatments and radiation to follow that.
Healing times are unknown but what is known is that Linda has a battle ahead of her - and once she's through the first battle she will have to face another one not long after. This means no work and very limited income to cover general living costs as well as costs incurred regarding travel, accommodation in Vancouver for surgeries and extended periods of time for chemo/radiation treatments are also part of the process. Her work at this time doesn't cover disability and EI medical will not cover her full salary.
Our hope is that Linda can focus solely on healing only and not carry any financial stress during this vital time. We've started with a modest goal that should help her breathe easy for the next 6 months or so and once we have a better idea of what the healing looks like after the first surgery and what recovery time looks like for brain surgery, we can perhaps reboot the fundraising campaign. We've put it at $27, 000 as Go Fund Me will take some of that for fees (2.9% per transaction) and want to make sure Linda receives as much as possible through this process.
Linda is a very proud person and doesn't like to ask for help but she is going to need our support in a number of ways. If you can help with accommodation, rides, meals etc - that would be of great service as well.
