Help Little Maple Walk Again

Little Maple deserves a chance to run, jump, pounce and chase with all four legs. This darling 5 month old kitty was rescued (along with 51 other kitties) from Idaho by Feline Friends of Sammamish to avoid euthanasia. Before she could be adopted she managed to break her femur bone in her leg; facing amputation or special surgery to insert a pin. The volunteers (who make up Feline Friends of Sammamish) agreed that Maple should have a chance to grow up like all the other kitties; running on all four!
Feline Friends of Sammamish is a non-profit organization run strictly by dedicated volunteers who are passionate about cats. We’re committed to providing the best care we can provide and helping kitties find their forever homes. As a very new organization, we have limited funding and appreciate your support to help pay for Maple’s surgery ($ 4350).
Your kind donation goes strictly towards her vet bill as we have no overhead; no employees, simply great volunteers and fosters. Even a small donation helps us get closer to our goal. Your help to pass along Maple’s story is also greatly appreciated!

Maple's foster mom has been taking such great care of her!! She's started to sleep on her 'surgery leg' and started to put a bit of weight on her leg when she walks. (check out the video)

Maple is anxious to get back on her feet! She's starting to put a little weight on her back leg.
