Help Save Wee Winston

We have been informed that our little 5 month old kitten has a malformation called pectus excavatum. The deformity can cause respiratory disease and compression in the heart / lungs which is life threatening to kittens that are severely affected by it. Due to Winston suffering with this he hasn’t been developing properly and is half the weight he should be at this age. The vet has advised that he must be x-rayed to see the severity of the condition so he can be treated correctly. The X-ray’s required can cost anywhere between £150 and £200 each and any treatment he will receive will cost over £1000. Any appointment regarding the issue is going to cost us approximately £100 also. We are not in any financial state for the constant visits to the vet and we want to give Winston a shot at a normal life. If he isn’t treated, Winston’s health with deteriorate until he eventually suffers to the point he needs to be put down. Little Winston is the most loving, affectionate wee kitten I’ve ever came across in my life and it would break so many peoples hearts if he didn’t make it through.
