So where do I begin ?

This is the journey of our beloved dog Spike. Spike is an English bull terrier. 9 years ago we drove all the way to Swansea and picked up this tiny little piggy dog who was the runt of the litter, they didn’t have much hope for him, he was the last one to be picked no one wanted him. As soon as I laid my eyes on that dog I just knew he was going to be the missing piece of our family that we needed. He must of felt comfortable too he pooped in the boot of the car on the way back he instantly made himself comfortable.

Over the years he has been there for my family in ways that you could never understand, let me explain. Unfortunately my nan passed away from cancer my dogs bestfriend it was heartbreaking. My grandad and spike have a bond like no other they are father and son, he honestly would die for spike and pick him over our family any day loyalty ey ...

Spike and grandad have been through a lot together. Your not going to believe this! Spike saved my grandads life when he got attacked by cows, yes I said cows They  trampled my grandad, they nearly killed him, he had a bleed on the brain, a broken jaw and broken ribs. He nearly died.

The only reason my grandad got out alive was because spike saved him running rings around them whilst barking. Warning the cows off.  This gave my grandad a chance to get up and run and spike soon followed! They both survived this tragic incident. We nearly lost them both. The only reason my grandad survived the hospital care is because he knew he had to get home to his dog Spike. They sleep in the same bed, they feel lost without eachother. So you can imagine how my grandad is feeling with spike at the vets. My grandad is not eating and sleeping.
We have to save spike.

Spike has only just turned 9. He is the most excited dog I have ever met he’s like a human he won’t eat normal dog food “nooo he’s much more than that “ he has fresh chicken breast every single day . He won’t eat out of a normal dog bowl “ooohhh noooo he’s much more than that “you have to hand feed him from a spoon or a fork. Honestly his character is beyond anything, he’s more entertaining than half the people I’ve met ❤️, he goes on long walks in Bradbury but recently he has fallen ill with a disease but it’s treatable. We know it’s not time to say goodbye. He has so many more years left in him and we can’t say good bye we just can’t ! My family is going through a heartbreaking time right now and vet bills are rising increasingly and we don’t have the money to keep going. We ask for anyone’s support even as little as £1, anything would be extremely great full so please continue to share this and help us save our little boy.

Spike  is my grandads best friend they are never apart you can’t say grandads name with our spike at the end. They are 2 peas in pod and I don’t know if he would carry on without his bestfriend by his side. He’s had the most awful time, he lost his beautiful wife and now his poor little woofer is sick. Again anything would be really appreciated and thankyou for reading and sharing our story. ❤️
