Help Stormi take the time to heal

Hello, I’m Stormi’s older Sister Missy. On 10-1-23 Stormi and her 3 boys were out enjoying the nice weather out on their UTV when a freak accident happened. They didn’t crash or anything but when they were coming around a corner there was what she stated a “Christmas Tree that looked like a beaver chewed the end to make a point” was sticking out into the trail. It was too late when then noticed exactly and the tree impaled her leg. There is an entrance and exit wound.

With quick thinking my nephew Aedeyn called 911 for help, called his dad and the rest of us. He kept strong for his mom and brothers.

Iron County Sheriff’s department, Mercer Fire and Ambulance, pass ATVers and a close friend helped get Stormi off of the trail and into the chopper. Stormi was life flighted to Wausau Aspirus hospital to the trauma bay.

After CT was conducted it showed the tree did not hit any vital organs and missed the main femoral artery.

Stormi will go to the OR later today where the Surgeon will go in and clean her wounds outs to prevent infection from happening. She is in a lot of pain but is being managed with meds.

This Go Fund me is being set up to help in anyway anyone can. If you know Stormi or don’t know her she is always on the go for her 3 boys. School, sports, many many doctors appointments. She tries to help others when she can in between her busy schedule. When she comes home she will need any help she can get. Meals, cleaning, help run boy etc., but I’m hoping this Go Fund Me will help with day to day things. Gas, food, first aid items etc.
