Help the Butterflies

Hi, my name is Nick Butterfly and I have created this GoFundMe for a special purpose.

Ryan Butterfly, My brother, tested positive for COVD-19 three weeks ago. Unfortunately his wife and three children all tested positive as well. Thankfully his wife and children only had minor symptoms, While Ryan's progressively got worse. Things began to worsen on fourth day, as he was rushed to the emergency room, complaining of shortness of breath. He was then admitted, where his lungs took most of the trauma. the doctors tried everything they could, but ultimately he was placed on a ventilator. After a week worried hearts and sleepless nights, he has slowly shown improvements. At this time, It is not known when he will be taken off the ventilator or be sent home. As his family prays and waits, We feel strongly he is on the mend.

To shed some light on his situation, Ryan has been struggling with many health issue for many years. Ever since serving his country in the United States Army, He developed multiple diagnoses such as Hypothyroidism, Fibromyalgia, and Chronic Fatigue System. He battled these afflictions for years, though recently he had made great stride in coping with them. For the past year, It was our fear that his body would not handle the COVD-19 virus. And even though it has been a terribly horrifying past three weeks, He is showing amazing signs of recovery.

This is where we are asking for your help.

His wife, Amanda, unfortunately had to resign her job for the time being, In order to be there for her husband while also homeschooling their oldest child, Noah. Amanda was determined to be there with Ryan as much as possible, and her presence made huge improvement on his recovery. We have been and will forever always be blessed to have a loved one like her. They have three wonderful children, in Noah, Abbey, and Lilly. When Ryan will be able to come home, It could be months for him to be rehabilitated. Ryan has been running his online T shirt company from home. Due to his many health issues, He chose to work from home and home school their son. It could be months before Amanda resumes her job. As they both live by the same standard, Family comes first.

We ask that you help in any amount that you can. I pray that no one takes for granted the time that we have with our siblings, spouses, parents, grandparents, and children.
