Our Dad has been fighting the toughest battle of his life.

In late September, he suffered a sudden brain bleed and had to undergo an emergency craniotomy. During surgery, doctors discovered two melanoma masses on his brain and another spot on his lungs. He amazed all of us by fully recovering from the surgery and bravely beginning treatment for the cancer.

But before he could complete those treatments, he suffered another brain bleed and has been hospitalized since Thanksgiving morning. His oncology team is clear: he urgently needs inpatient therapy so he can safely continue cancer treatment. Without it, he faces a dangerously high risk of another bleed and further, possibly irreversible, damage.

Unfortunately, insurance will not cover therapy until January. Waiting that long is simply not an option.

We are starting this fundraiser to raise the $50,000 needed to get him the therapy he needs right now so oncology can resume treatment and give him the best chance at recovery.

Our Dad is strong. He is a fighter. And he’s giving this battle everything he’s got — but he needs your help on this one.
