Help Undisputed Collectibles Open a Physical Store

Who are we? Is probably the number one question on your mind. Undisputed Collectibles LLC is comprised of 3 passionate card collectors: Matt, Austin, and Stephanie. Just over a year ago we decided to come together and create this LLC to improve the card game scene in our area, which we believe has massive opportunity for growth and profitability. We pride ourselves on pricing to market value and not trying to nickle and dime our customer base. We are collectors and players ourselves and know the frustration it can cause when someone is blatantly just trying to rip you off.
For the last year we have been bringing that Local Card Shop feel to Tiktok, WhatNot, and card shows around the Southeast. After an incredible first year we are ready to take that next step. We want to take that culture we've created and have associated with Undisputed Collectibles LLC, to open a physical card shop in the Murfreesboro-Smyrna, Tennessee area.
While there are some INCREDIBLE stores in the Nashville area, this side of the city is lacking particularly in places where people can go to play their favorite trading card games and meet other people that share their interests. From the moment that we founded Undisputed Collectibles creating that kind of environment has always been a top priority for us. We want it to be a safe place within the community where people from all kinds of backgrounds and ages can come to share their passion about any card game under the sun.

Our Journey
When we first started Undisputed we truly had no idea what we were gonna do for product. We dismantled our personal collections that we had spent the majority of our lives building up and turned those items into our first sales. We started attending the Nashville Sports Cards & Collectibles Show to get our names out there and from there we started attending as many card shows as we could. In our first year we were able to secure tables at shows across Tennessee, North Carolina, Georgia, and Louisiana!

Every cent that we earned was poured back into the business and we have done nothing but expand our inventory since. Until the business is in a state where it's truly profitable we will continue to volunteer our time and money to focus on improving the business in every way. Our endless desire for having Undisputed live up to its name is why we've turned to fundraising to hopefully accelerate this process. Thanks to our collected efforts plus the volunteered time of some of our loved ones, we were able to surpass $80,000 in sales in our first year.
Our Products
Since the beginning we have always had a very diverse inventory profile that we have used to grab the attention of multiple different fanbases from across the card game landscape. We sell Pokémon, of course, but we've also jumped into the hottest anime based card games on the market including One Piece, Dragon Ball Super, and Union Arena. We want to appeal not only to the collector but to the player so we've also been working on gathering valuable singles to help players complete their competitive decks and take that next step in the tournament scene.

We also want to make sure we put the "Collectibles" in Undisputed Collectibles and have went out of our way to have a selection of Funko Pops and figures that, to be blunt, we would buy ourselves! We believe all too often that stores get caught up in buying up every character and every franchise and our beliefs will always be: If we wouldn't want it, we won't buy it. We want to always focus on having a high quality selection of collectibles and figures and focus less on the bulky product that takes up space that we can use to have more available playing space for our card game events.
But we aren't JUST about trading card games, we LOVE sports cards as well. We understand that sports cards are exceptionally more difficult and expensive to get into than TCG which is why we usually take a "box break" approach to selling sports. This makes it way more accessible for people to get into the hobby for the first time. However, without a physical store we'll never be able to get higher end products as most distributors do not grant accounts to online sellers. This is where opening our own store would have a huge impact on improving our sports inventory and opening up even more avenues for our local collector scene.
We also have access to graded cards and take a lot of pride in the variety of games and players that we have in "slabs". We have a partnership with an up and coming grading company known as Mana Studios, which uses a combination of AI and human grading to deliver the most accurate grades in the industry. Graded cards are focused on the collectors side of the industry and they ensure that cards that are in their best condition STAY in that condition permanently. This is also the best way for people to invest in their card collection as historically cards that receive high grades will increase in value over time as the card becomes less accessible to being pulled out of packs.

Our Goals
We know this is a long shot. We know that your money is very valuable and we wouldn't be asking for it if we didn't think we had a shot at making an impact in our community. We would do everything we could to improve our business at every level and continue to constantly expand to bring in more people together. We want to be able to hold tournaments and launch events for new releases and create excitement for our community.

The main goal of raising this money is to ensure we have the necessary funds to maintain a retail space in our area for at least 6 months, including utilities, and also greatly expand our inventory. We've already developed connections for non-card game collectibles such as Funko Pops and Action Figures and have connections for brand new trading card game releases with our partners at Pro-Play Games. If we were able to show a physical store we would be able to open accounts with Southern Hobby, GTS, Alliance, and other card game wholesaler distributors to give greater access to card games for our community.
How will the funds be used?
Great question! The fund breakdown is estimated as follows:
$30,000 - Product: Ranging from Booster Boxes to Graded Cards, Funko Pops and everything in between!
$10,000 - Initial Furniture, POS, Set Up Costs
$10,000 - Help have money set aside for the first few months of rent and utilities
