Join forces with my small family owned business in St. Paul (Erbert & Gerbert’s on Wabasha St. in downtown St. Paul) to deliver meals to our essential workers during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Our essential workers are risking their lives and health by working around the clock to care for our communities – and we want to help!
How can we express our gratitude and say thank you to these local heroes? Everyone is feeling helpless right now and we want to find a small way to help. Together, we can give a heartfelt thank you to our heroes--doctors, nurses, hospital staff, police, firefighters--all while helping a small business weather this crisis.
Our vision is to deliver Hoagies to Heroes at hospitals, police stations, fire stations, clinics, 911 call centers and others who don’t have the luxury of staying home. In the meantime, you’ll be helping to keep our staff employed through this unprecedented crisis.
Starting our mission in St. Paul, MN, we hope to begin by delivering at least 100 sandwiches each week to a new location. But, we need your help.
Here is how it works!
o Make a donation of $60 to send 10 Hoagies to Heroes – or any amount you feel you can give!
o Hoagies will be delivered to our heroes on the front lines with a thank you note.
o We will post photos and updates with the hashtag #HoagiestoHeroes so you can easily track our impact.
Who knows where this could go? We could expand to hospitals in other cities or families of doctors and nurses that are working tirelessly. Right now, this is a vision and we want to turn it into action. There has never been a more important time for us to come together as a community.
