Honoring Christopher Glasco's Memory
Donation protected
Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted supporters,
On September 22, 2023, we tragically lost a beloved member of our family, Christopher Glasco. Chris was not just a brother; he was a son, a friend, and a hardworking roofer who touched the lives of many with his warm heart and infectious humor.
Chris was a soft-spoken man with a big heart, and his funny personality brought joy to everyone he met. He was incredibly supportive of his family and friends, always there when we needed him. To us, he was a gentle giant who stood tall with a heart full of compassion.
Chris dedicated himself to his roofing profession for many years. At only 39 years old, we believed he had a long and promising life ahead of him. But God had other plans, and we lost him far too soon. On September 22, Chris went to work like any other day. He was getting a ladder out when the top of his ladder landed on the powerline. Chris was electrocuted. The paramedics and hospital staff tried to revive him but were unsuccessful.
Now, we face the heart-wrenching task of saying our final goodbyes to Chris. Unfortunately, our family is confronted with unexpected funeral expenses that we are unprepared to meet. To make matters more challenging, Chris and our mother lived in different states, complicating the logistics and costs associated with his final arrangements.
Chris was not one for extravagance, and our mother is determined to provide him with a dignified yet simple funeral that he would have approved of. However, she cannot do it alone. As a retired individual living on a fixed income, the financial burden of arranging the funeral has become overwhelming.
This is where your help can make a profound difference. We are humbly reaching out to our community and beyond to ask for your support in honoring Chris's memory. Your generous contributions will go towards covering the funeral expenses and ensuring that Chris receives the respectful farewell he deserves.
Please consider making a donation, no matter how small, to help ease our family's financial burden during this incredibly difficult time. Your support will not only assist in providing a proper farewell to Chris but also offer comfort to our grieving mother, who has lost her baby son.
We are immensely grateful for any help you can provide, whether it's through a donation or by sharing this campaign with your network. Your kindness and compassion will forever be etched in our hearts as we remember Christopher Glasco, the gentle giant with a big heart and a funny personality.
Thank you for being a source of light during our darkest hours.
With heartfelt appreciation, Zenobia Warren, Malissa Lemme (sisters), and Alicia McClanahan-Garcia (mother).
