Hoops for Adam Harford

After going to the doctor for a sore throat you certainly wouldn’t expect a diagnosis of Leukaemia. That’s just what happened to our young and talented Bundaberg basketball player Adam Harford last month. Now Adam’s life is on hold while he fights this horrible disease and Bundaberg Basketball is going to do all it can to support Adam and help in any way we can. We expect there will be many people wanting to support Adam who can’t make it to our Hoops for Harford fundraiser game. We’ve started this page so they can be part of it all. Our fundraising event is a men’s basketball game with Adam’s current Bulls team playing off against a host of team mates from previous years. It’s going to be a huge night and we’re expecting Bundaberg to do what it always does when there’s a crisis… stand up, be counted and do everything it can to help! Hoops for Harford – 30th Nov – Bundaberg Stadium 5:30pm Adam is currently undergoing treatment in Brisbane and will have tests to see if it’s been successful on the 24th of Nov. He is in high spirits and trying to be as positive as he can. All the support coming from his home town is definitely making Adam's time down there a lot brighter.  We all miss you Adam and can't wait to see you back in Bundy!
