My Mission
My name is Anthony French https://www.linkedin.com/in/anthonyafrench from Lubbock Texas and I am an avid animal lover and wildlife conservationist (organized Eco-tours safaris in South Africa)
My mission is to substantially reduce the amount of #homeless and abused pets (especially dogs) throughout the U.S.A. This program will include:-
* Education about pet ownership.
* Qualification of prospective owner before the dog is adopted.
* Partner with leading pet shelters, and clinics, to expedite the program and maintain the highest living standards for the pets.
* Create awareness and urgency of this program locally and nationally through the leading pet associations and shelters. i.e. A.S.P.C.A. Paws, Anticruelty.org.
* Intensive marketing through social media.
A Dog's Life
After my parents sold our house they divorced and I moved to a complex where dogs were not allowed. Samba my beautiful boxer temporarily stayed with friends about 2 miles from our previous home.
This was not a happy time and I missed my dog terribly but I went to visit him as often as possible.
Our friends informed me that Samba would often dig out of his chicken run and wait for us by the gate at the old home. This information upset me even more but there was nothing I could do since I was still at school.
One night my father told me that on his way to the office he passed a trash container on the side of the road which had a dog's legs sticking out of it. It was Samba my dog who had been shot by a farmer one night while he ran through the farmers' land to wait for us at the old house.
It took me years to recover from that experience and love another dog.
Dogs become part of our family and they should be treated as such and have a stable home.
Prevention is better than cure.
I have been fortunate to own #dogs my whole life and I have learned that often the ways to communicate with them and to train them are generally misunderstood.
For example. Do you know why it is important while walking your dog to let them stop and sniff as much as possible?
The reason is that your dog's nose through smell opens a "story book of information" regarding who or what recently happened there, so this makes the walk much more beneficial to them.
Please donate to help me to save a pet's life today. Tell a friend.
Thank You
Sincerely,
Anthony French
