Hurricane Otis recovery for Leo’s cousin, Monica
Donation protected
As many of you may know, category 5 hurricane Otis slammed into Acapulco, Mexico the morning of Wednesday, October 25th. It caused devastating damages. So many people do not have the same resources as we do, mainly insurance to cover almost insurmountable losses. This has especially hit home for our family as Leo’s cousin, Monica, and her family live in Acapulco and were in the direct path. They are safe but their home sustained damages. You may also remember that Leo and I travelled to Acapulco and to their home just a few months ago to bring Stuart and Stella home to the U.S. They so selflessly found these dogs for us, cared for them, trained them well, and were a bit heartbroken to see them go. They need our help now. Their veterinary clinic was badly damaged and pillaged. We are setting up this fund to support getting them back on their feet.
