In memory of Princess Marie
Rest in peace, sweet angel girl. Mama loves you.

Last night at about 1 AM I noticed Princess was walking strangely. I took her to the vet and she’s extremely dehydrated and needs to stay in the office. Unfortunately, it’s extremely expensive because she needs to be in their ICU. They diagnosed her with an innocent (i.e. not problematic on its own) heart murmur, which makes things a bit more complicated. While she is receiving IV fluids, they have to monitor her blood pressure and run tests to monitor how much fluid she needs/can handle. I am so thankful that this treatment is relatively simple and has an excellent prognosis. She will likely need SubQ fluids at home but that’s a tiny price to pay for how much I adore her and need her in my life.
I set the goal at $3000*, but any little donation helps. Princess has been my emotional support animal for 12 years and her condition is very treatable, but the hospital stay is expensive. If you could even donate a dollar, you’ll have my eternal gratitude. And if you can’t afford it, I totally understand. All I would ask is for you to share the link.
I know that a lot of you care about her too and it would mean the world to use if you could help out, even just a little bit. And if you are only able share a link or leave a comment, that is also truly, truly appreciated.
I’ll post updates as soon as I receive them. Thank you again for reading this.
*The bill ranges between $1800 and $4000; the final amount will depend on what tests and medicines are given and how long she is at the vet and I will post that info as soon as I get it. Any funds left over from the vet bill will either be refunded (either through GoFundMe or another money transfer app) or donated to a charity that supports animals.
