North Berwick Family of 4. David , Billie Smith & two young sons Finlay (5) & Forrest (2)
For 1 month,
April 5th - May 5th
we will limit ourselves to a very small food budget which is sadly normal for some families in our area .
This is the sum of £120 for the entire month. To feed us all.
This is due to many problems, covid 19 especially this year.
many families & single people are struggling to make ends meet, no one has had a great year but for us as a family we cant help but think of those in need. we truly cant imagine what it is like, unless we are IN THEIR SHOES!
so to raise awareness & funds to really support those in need of the services we will be on the journey with them.
we hope to use this as a tool in our journey of life, to educate our children that not everything is affordable & really open our eyes to struggles around us people are having. we are in solidarity with you!
The foodbank at the North Berwick centre ( NB kindness coop) work tirelessly with volunteers to ensure support for everyone who may need food packages & assistance.
we have set up a facebook page; ' in their shoes' where we will be sharing the highs & lows along the way.
we really hope you get behind us on this!
