Inclusive swing for Campbeltown playpark

I am a mum to two children who are aged 7 and 4. My 4 year old beautiful boy is Autistic.
We live in Campbeltown and we use the playparks regularly and like to visit the playparks in the surrounding areas.
One thing that I never noticed with my 7 year old (as I didn’t need to) and only noticed it becoming more obvious as my little boy was growing( very quickly )is the lack of equipment for children with less ability.
Playparks should be inclusion for all and a place where all children can come and be children and be included regardless of their ability or disability with their peers.
I am trying to raise funds with the help and support from Councillor Donald Kelly for the playpark to be extended and an inclusive piece of equipment (similar to the picture) to be installed and maintained at Jocks boat playpark in Campbeltown.
The price of equipment is an adapted swing on one side and a wheelchair swing on the other.
We are looking at a total price of around £25,000.
Donald Kelly has conditionally secured an amazing pledge of £10,000 from an external funder on the condition the community can fundraise the rest.
I am really passionate about raising the money for this equipment which was inspired by my own son but not only that but how many children will benefit massively and have so much enjoyment from this piece of equipment which is hugely vital for their development and inclusion with family and their peers. Not only will it benefit our children locally but any visitors that may come to the area in the future.
The community spirit in Campbeltown is incredible and I am really hoping everyone will support this in any way they can.
All money from the community fundraising will be passed on to the community council.
