Bahamas Relief Fund / Hurricane Dorian

As I’m sure you’ve all seen, The Bahamas was recently affected by Hurricane Dorian in the most tragic way. Many families have lost everything while most of the islands remain under flooded streets and destroyed buildings. The only major hospital has been forced to evacuate leaving many without medical aid or any assistance. The people of The Bahamas are in dire need of help and collectively we have the power to make a difference. 

This could have been any of our families. It is my hope to aid them in the same way we would all hope to be helped. All money raised through this fund will go directly to my account and will be managed by me (Chantel Rodríguez) and will 100% be donated to the relief effort with receipts and social updates (@chooseloveart) to follow. Supplies (including non perishable foods, medical/hygiene products and water) will be purchased, packaged and shipped from Orlando, FL.

In the event that supply needs are being met via local drop offs, we will be using the donations from this account to help fund private drop off trips to the smaller islands via plane and boat. The only way to access the people of the smaller surrounding islands is via boat/yacht until runways are cleared. The two organizations that these funds will be supporting (monetarily or by physical donations depending on their specific needs) is Yacht Global Aid and Sole Relief. 

All monetary donations, regardless of the amount, would be such a blessing to these families.
