Marc Gerstenfeld Family Education Fund

This educational fund for Jack Gerstenfeld was created to honor the memory of Marc Gerstenfeld, who died on March 9, 2020.
Marc was born in Massachusetts in June 1964. During his childhood, Marc moved to California, but returned to Massachusetts, where he graduated from Newton South High School (and met Jill Tatelman, who would later become his wife). After high school, Marc joined the United States Navy and served our country aboard the USS New Jersey. After completing his service, Marc graduated from Tufts University and from Suffolk University Law School. Marc represented the State of Massachusetts as a family lawyer before entering private practice.
Marc was an avid Boston sports fan, but his greatest passion was his family. He cherished his wife, Jill, and loved and was immensely proud of his son, Jack, and daughters, Jessica and Jamie. Education and family were extremely important to Marc. Jack will graduate from high school this spring and will begin college in September. Those of us who knew Marc know that he would want nothing more than for Jack to be able to leave for college without financial worries.
