Jacob's wish to walk

On March 28th 2006 Jacob Avalos was born at 27 weeks.  Jacob suffered a grade 4 brain bleed.  Due to the grade 4 brain bleed he was diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy , epilepsy , hydrocephalus being legally blind and developmentally delayed are all things he's had to deal with throughout his life. Jacob is an amazing little boy who lives everyday with a smile on his face and happy to be alive despite his rough start to life.   Because Jacob has cerebral palsy, his legs have a lot of spasticity meaning they are (very tight) and makes it difficult for him to walk and move around and do normal things on a daily basis. Jacob has a opportunity to receive Lumbar Laminectomy selective Dorsal Rhizotomy.
Jacob will have surgery on 18 of July.  Due to the extensive surgery and therapy after surgery.  He will be in the hospital for six weeks.  Our home is 4 hours from Albuquerque, and it will be impossible to go back and forth as someone will need to be with Jacob during his stay.  Throughout the years we have endured many hardships with Jacob and again in September when his sister was born at 26 weeks and was also in the hospital for 3 months in Albuquerque.  We are thankful for our children and no matter the hardships we know there is hope.
We are so thankful and excited for the possibility of Jacob walking.  Please help us help Jake make his dream of walking come true.  Thank you for taking the time to read this and for your support.  Please keep Jacob in your prayers.
