My dear friend and co-worker, Klara Barbeau and her husband have suffered a major health scare and need our help. Jason started off sick with an unknown virus and it progressed to pneumonia. He was admitted to the hospital, intubated and put on a ventilator. Shortly after that his health rapidly declined and the doctors opted to put him on an ECMO machine. ECMO is life support for his lungs. This will give his lungs a chance to heal so he can get better and come home to his family. As I am sure you all know, missing work, hospital bills and expenses add up. We have created this account to help her offset those costs and hope that this can help Klara and Jason concentrate all their efforts on getting and staying healthy.
