I had a fundraiser that fell short of goal, but someone was nice enough to loan me $2,500 to keep my apartment.

As many are aware, I have a well-documented dire heart issue and I am will be in home care after my 3/27 operation.

I only make $876 per month from SSI, which obviously doesn't cover expenses (never-mind the loan).

I will also certainly have unplanned medical and travel expenses due to my worsening condition.

Why?

Because I was honest about reaching my goal (even though donations were received from various other sources).
