Jim Strietelmeier of Neighborhood Fellowship passed into the arms of Jesus on Sunday, May 7th, 2023. Jim was diagnosed with cancer in April 2021. Throughout through two-years of treatment, he continued to serve his Savior, his family, and his church community, faithfully.

Please pray for his family and community, and if so led, please consider a financial contribution. Click the link below to see the beginning of Jim's journey to his Creator.

WISH TV8 Story About Jim "The gospel comes with a healthcare story!" These are the words proclaimed by Jim Strietelmeier too many times to number. Jim, a slave to Christ, faithful Husband, loving Father, and Preacher of the Word of God is the caregiver to thousands of souls across Indianapolis' urban community. With his faithful wife Debbie at his side, the couple who have dedicated their lives to ministering to the poor, now find themselves in need of their community's care.

In April 2021, Jim was diagnosed with Cholangiocarcinoma; a rare and aggressive form of bile-duct cancer. Now, Jim, Debbie, and their family are trusting in the Lord, believing He has gone before them. Many people are faithfully praying for Jim and his family, aware of the significant emotional and spiritual trials that lie ahead, but also with an awareness that there will be a considerable financial strain as well.

This is our opportunity to live out the gospel story that Jim has passionately preached throughout his ministry... The Parable of the Good Samaritan (Luke 10:25-37). This is the work the Lord now calls us to; to bandage their wounds and anoint them with oil, ensuring they are cared for throughout Jim's planned medical treatment. Your financial contribution will be a balm of healing and a salve of protection in this season of life.

Please consider giving generously, if even out of your own need, to pour into the lives of Jim and Debbie who live out the greatest commandment of loving God and their neighbors, by graciously giving out of their own need to care for those who live outside the doors of their home and church, Neighborhood Fellowship.

We covet your prayers for Jim and his family, and thankfully pray the words of Christ over your consideration of support: "Blessed are the merciful, for they shall receive mercy," - Matthew 5:7
