A Call for Community: Help Nick Fight Brain Cancer
Donation protected
Dear Friends, Family, Neighbors, and Compassionate Strangers,
We are reaching out to you today with a heavy heart and a plea for help. After a visit to the emergency room for what we thought was just a severe headache, Nick was diagnosed with an aggressive brain cancer. Nick is 31 years young, an avid surfer and drummer, a twin, loving partner, New York Times Crossword whiz, and a University of California Santa Barbara alum. This sudden and devastating diagnosis has turned our lives upside down, plunging us into a whirlwind of uncertainty and fear.
As Nick battles this cruel disease, he requires extensive medical treatment including surgeries, chemotherapy, radiation and travel for clinical trials. These treatments come with exorbitant costs and limit our ability to work, leaving us with medical bills that seem insurmountable.
We believe in the power of community and cannot face this challenge alone. That’s why we’re turning to you for help. Your contribution, no matter the size, can make a world of difference in Nick’s journey. Every dollar will go directly towards his medical expenses and ongoing care, alleviating some of the financial strain and allowing him to focus on what truly matters—his health and his fight against cancer.
Please consider donating and sharing Nick’s story with your networks.
Nick, his parents Dino & Afrula, his siblings Amanda & Charlie, myself, and our dog Ella all thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your compassion, generosity, and unwavering support.
With heartfelt gratitude,
Rebecca & Nick
