Joy Ella Edith MacMillan: A Celebration of Her Life
Donation protected
With heavy hearts and deep love, we come together to celebrate the life of Joy MacMillan, who passed away after a courageous year-long battle with cancer. Joy was more than a mother—she was a beacon of light, strength, and kindness to everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. Throughout her journey, she inspired us all with her resilience, ferocity, and unwavering love for her family and friends. Her laughter filled our hearts, her wisdom guided us, and her presence made the world a better place. Now, it’s time to honor her legacy and cherish the incredible memories she left behind.
We are organizing a Celebration of Life to remember and honor Joy in the way she deserves—a gathering filled with love, stories, music, and the warmth she brought to our lives. This event will allow family, friends, and all whose lives she touched to come together and celebrate the incredible woman she was.
To make this celebration truly special, we are reaching out for support to cover the associated costs, including venue rental, catering, entertainment, decorations, and other arrangements. Any additional funds will be used to support the transportation and accommodation costs required to spread of her ashes amongst the Northern Ontario great lakes in the summer. Your contribution, no matter the size, will help us honor her memory in the most heartfelt way possible. We hope this gathering will be a reflection of the love she gave so freely and a moment for us to cherish her beautiful spirit together. The anticipated date is currently January 25th, 2025.
Thank you for your kindness, generosity, and love during this time. We also invite you to share this campaign with others who knew and loved Joy MacMillan so they, too, can be part of this special tribute.
