Judith Thorpe - Funeral & Children Fund
Donation protected
On Wednesday, 10th August Judith Thorpe passed away following a short battle with coronavirus, which unfortunately attacked her brain. She leaves behind Lewis 24, Hannah 16, Scarlett 13. This is an incredibly rare form of Coronavirus that has only been known to kill fewer than 20 people worldwide.
This comes only a few years after the girl's father's death from pancreatic cancer.
During this time, Lewis has taken on the role of carer for his younger sisters, who unfortunately no longer have any other immediate family.
Judith was always willing to lend a helping hand or support to anyone who needed it. She was a cleaner at the NHS Freeman Hospital but sadly had no pension as she opted out due to rising electricity bills. Previously to working at the NHS, she worked as a Chef at a rehabilitation center. This fundraiser is to honour this lovely woman loved by so many.
We hope that by creating this fund, we can prevent these unexpected expenses from getting passed onto the children and adding unnecessary stress to what her children are already going through.
The purposes of this fundraiser are:
- Help with the expenses for Judith’s Funeral
- Help fund support for the children
- Create a legacy in honour of Judith so that her loved ones will feel how much she was loved and appreciated by many who were blessed with her kindness, friendship and generous help.
All proceeds from this fund with go directly to Judith’s son Lewis and her daughters Hannah and Scarlet. So please, if you can help us reach this goal. Give what you can and share with others.
