Kiddies Korner Playground Move
After many years in the same location, Kiddies Korner Preschool is moving! Our current space is being utilized for a different community initiative and we are moving in June 2025. We have graciously been offered a new space to continue our program at Coquitlam Presbyterian Church.
We need help from our community to achieve the vison we have for our outdoor play space. This portion of the move will be costly, and with our tight timeline, we need your help! Coquitlam Presbyterian Church has provided us with a blank canvas that we are looking to transform into a safe playground, much like what we have now. This involves grading the area, disassembling and moving our large play structure, installing appropriate height fencing as well as many smaller projects.
We are asking for financial help to make this possible. We have seen how our community has come together to support each other over the years and ask for your help to continue our legacy. Your contributions will bring us one step closer to creating our new home.
You have all come to know Kiddies Korner as more than a classroom. While we are proud of the way our not-for-profit has served the Tri-Cities over the past 55 years in terms of providing services as a play-based, inclusive, non-denominational, parent involvement preschool, it is the connections we have formed that speak most deeply into how we have endeavored to leave our mark. We have managed to cultivate something rare in this world: we have built a space that reaches far beyond the walls of the building within which we reside. The heart of Kiddies Korner’s legacy is found in the way we have created a culture of care. It is evident in the way we value and support family, relationships, diversity, play, and growth. We appreciate your continued support as we start our next chapter.
