We are enlisting the help of social media not only to ask for help but to share this story.

Christopher Paige is 35 years old. He is a hardworking dedicated family man. On June 24th, 2020, He admitted into Winter Haven Hospital in Florida, where he tested positive for the Coronavirus.

After testing positive for COVID-19, his kidneys began to fail. Three days later, after being hospitalized, He was placed on emergency dialysis.

He spent two weeks in the ICU and was admitted several times after that due to complications on his COVID-19 recovery. He spent nearly two months in two different hospitals getting treatment and procedures done.

With no history of kidney failure, He was discharged with instructions to continue outpatient dialysis for a couple of weeks with the hopes that his kidneys would recover.

Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case, his kidneys are permanently damaged, and he is in need of a kidney transplant.

Before Covid-19, he worked  as a truck driving instructor. On his days off, he enjoyed time outside running around with his kids and working on cars.

Being on dialysis three times a week has taken a toll on his body from lack of energy to relying on a machine to complete body functions for him.

With his career... He was able to provide for his family. As you can imagine, this has been life changing, not only for him but for his family. He lives with the mother of his children Paola and together they have  three kids ages six, two and a baby that's three months old.

She has been a rock through all of this. Not only caring for their three children but taking care of him as well. She will need to continue to do so even after the transplant.

They are managing a lot not only emotionally but, financially. With all the medical expenses, traveling to different appointments, and bills coming up. They’ve been running through  their savings, and the upcoming cost associated with this illness are unknown.

They never imagined they'll be in the position to ask for financial support. Of course, they never imagined the'll be facing a transplant and all the follow-up care.

As a family they have a long road ahead, anything you can contribute will go directly to them, to help with anything they need.
