Dynasty Ball: Crystal Tokyo - July 29th, 2023 @ the Langston Hughes Performing Art Institute

The Dynasty Ball is a community event and competition that celebrates the creativity, resourcefulness, and strength of the Ballroom community in the PNW, mostly made up of Black and Latinx LGBTQ+ people. Just as important, it is a public resource fair where organizations share programs that offer services to support and aid marginalized and underserved groups.

We launched our first event in 2022 with great fanfare. This year we aim for even greater heights to continue supporting our community. We look forward to the continuation of curating a safe space geared towards QTBIPOC (Queer, Trans, Black, Indigenous, People of Color) to showcase their talent.

These funds go directly toward production costs such as staff, labor, supplies, etc. We are close to reaching our goal, thanks to our local sponsors, partners, and past donors. With your help, we know we can reach the finish line.

The Dynasty ball is fiscally sponsored by Playrgoud Kiki. The Playground KiKi aims to engage, empower, and create space for Black and Brown LGBTQS2+ communities using cultural arts, social justice, and wellness programming to support queer expression, promote health, and mobilize coalitions. It is also heavily involved in ballroom culture and the local SeaTac Ballroom scene.
