Kolby was in a car crash on Christmas day and has left him in PICU at Children's Mercy Hospital in Kansas City. He has been diagnosed with Traumatic Brain Injury. Kolby is making improvements daily but will need long-term rehabilitation once he is stable enough to travel. We are raising funds to help cover some of his out of pocket medical expenses to relieve stress from his parents. They need to be able to focus on Kolby's care and not financial burdens.

Here is just a brief summary of Kolby's impressive swim successes:

At the recent Missouri State Swim meet (2020 MSHSAA Boys State - Class 1), Kolby (as a sophomore) placed 2nd in the 100 free with a time of 46.32. He was an anchor for the 200 Yard Free Relay team, which also placed 2nd with a time of 1:26.76. His relay team also placed 3rd in the 400 yd free relay and 5th in the 200 yd medley relay. Kolby only had two weeks to qualify for State due to family complications of COVID, which kept him out for 3 weeks during the season. During Kolby's final year in middle school and his freshman and sophomore year, he did not swim year-round, only during High School season.

We all love Kolby because he has a fierce spirit and inspires so many people and others in our community to be their best. He is incredibly thoughtful and always there for any of his friends!

If you can help, his family would be so very grateful! They would also appreciate prayers and positive thoughts. This is an incredible family that has done so much for others, and it is our turn to help them!
