Mason Ryder's Journey with Dyskeratosis Congenita

Donation protected
**Mason received a healthy donor liver in the early hours of 10/30/21. **

The Langlais Family needs our help. Mason, 8 years old,  is living with Dyskeratosis Congenita (DC). DC is a life-limiting, multi-system disorder with no cure. Organ transplants are a common treatment as DC progresses. Mason had a successful bone marrow transplant at age 4. Now, Mason needs a new liver!

The week of May 17th Mason will start the arduous evaluation process that will eventually lead to a transplant at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP). Philadelphia is 4 hours from Mason’s home,
The Langlais family will need to be prepared to relocate to Philadelphia on a moments notice once a liver becomes available for Mason. They will need to stay for an undetermined amount of time.

Funds raised will give the Langlais family a temporary home base while Mason receives his new liver and related treatments at CHOP.
