Live2Dance Survival Campaign

Today, we are struggling for our survival, and we need your help to fight through this pandemic.

Live2Dance is our effort to bring the community together, multiply smiles and reduce stress through our fun Bollywood infused dance styles. Live2Dance is our family. It’s our happy place, and we are very proud of what we have become today. A place that radiates positive and welcoming vibes.
 
Live2Dance started as a volunteer group about 4 years ago. We have performed at almost every event in the city. We’ve produced two in-house dance-drama shows of our own. We have grown a lot in the last 4 years.
 
That’s when I decided to quit my corporate career and take up my passion of building communities through dance. It has taken about 10 years to get to this position where I could make a decision to start my own dance studio. It has been a LONG struggle including building financial resources, finding a studio space, but persistence paid off. And, we opened up live2dance doors in October 2019.  We had just picked up momentum in January and we were thriving in our gorgeous studio right before the pandemic hit us.
 
COVID 19 has been catastrophic for us. We are now in the 5th month of pandemic and survival looks very slim for us.
 
During these past 5 months, we’ve done everything we could to not just pivot our services, but also maintain sanity in our community and keep a positive outlook during these dark times. We’ve spread a lot of happiness through our virtual classes, tutorials, online challenges, video montages, bringing in a plethora of dance styles and new instructors, increasing our social media presence, guest workshops, we’ve done it all. Despite all of our efforts, our classes were just not enough to cover our soaring expenses. Our financial dues kept piling up, until we’re at a point where we are struggling for our survival.
 
We are fighting for our survival today and we are asking for help. If you can, in any capacity, please donate to Live2Dance survival Campaign. It would mean so much to us, and we will have a fighting chance to come out of this pandemic, stronger. The funds raised will go towards settling our financial dues, rent, and utilities.
 
We’ve tried everything and now we’re relying on our community to survive this pandemic. I know, I desperately want to stay in the business to be able to continue building this community stronger.
