Llewelyn's road to Canada

Hi, we are Pete and Beth and we are fundraising to help our son Llewelyn represent Wales at the Kickboxing World Championships 2023 in Canada.

Llewelyn started kickboxing at the age of 4 with Steve Bevan at WCKA Caerphilly. Over the years he has grown in confidence, skill and ability. In 2022, Llewelyn, at just 8 years old, represented Wales at the Kickboxing World Championships in Wales. Llew came third in Points fighting achieving a bronze medal, and second place, silver, in Light Continuous fighting.

This is an exciting year as Llewelyn has stepped up a weight category but also moved to Full Contact fighting. Llewelyn has already won several medals this year, most recently achieving gold in Kicklight at the British Open. Also, there are a number of upcoming competitions!

We are looking for support with the costs of Canada- the funds raised will cover Llewelyn's- flight, accommodation, World license, three competition categories, Wales fight suit, and full medical.

Alongside this fundraiser, we are also looking for corporate sponsorship, sports grants, and as a club completing several fundraising activities.
