Are you sick of trash lining our Milwaukee streets? Become a part of something that will impact this generation and many more and join our Trash Mob Tag Team or donate funds to help give back to our volunteers.
The Tag Team is a program for youth aged 15-25 that teaches principles of nonviolence, racial justice and civic responsibility. The mission of the Tag Team is to combat, prevent, and eradicate litter to make our community safer, cleaner and more livable.
Funds will be used as earnings, incentives and prize winnings for those that participate in our Tag Team efforts and "Trash Mob" events around the city.
Our first event will be held on Tuesday, April 6, 2021 -VOTING DAY- in the 53210 zipcode area. We will meet at Sherman Park located at 3000 N. Sherman Blvd at 12pm. This event will be sponsored by Yunek Findz (www.yunekfindz.com) Please join us! The Event will begin promptly at 1pm. Volunteers will be given t-shirts to recognize them as volunteers, masks, disposable gloves, 1 trash bag and 1 hour (60 minutes) to collect as much trash as possible within the parameters of the location site. At 2pm trash will be collected, weighed, and a winner will be announced on site. A minimum award of $101.70 will be granted. We are seeking to raise $1000 to hold at least 9 more events in the zipcodes most affected by this tragedy of trash.
