Beatrix was born on the 19th July 2023, a speedy exit and has not stopped running since, she is full of fire, loves playing in the garden, loves food, berries of any type are her favourite.
She has 4 older siblings who absolutely dote on her, one squeak and shes picked up or given exactly what she wants.
Beatrix fell poorly around the 17th June 24, after having a sickness bug, her mum took her to the GP as she was still off her food after 8 days, they were reassured it was normal after a viral infection. Her Mum then took her to Wexham Park Hospital a further 5 days later presenting with symptoms of high fevers , not eating, not drinking, little to no wet nappies, again they were sent home with the conclusion it was a ear infection. Still poorly her mum took her back to the GP this time presenting with all the above but added swelling to the face and no longer unable to stand up they were sent away again with the conclusion its just a viral !!
Not happy with this mum took Beatrix back to Wexham Park Hospital where she demanded to be listened to and seen..
One look at Beatrix you could see after nearly a month of barely eating, not bearing weight, inconsolable crying , fevers, sleeping more then usual something was seriously wrong, this time she was rushed through, treated for sepsis, with a gallop rhythm of the heart they were rushed to John Radcliffe Hospital.
Numerous tests and she has been diagnosed with chronic heart failure called Myocarditis caused by a Parvovirus, they are 13 days in and have just been told they will be transferred to Birmingham Hospital this evening with a high chance of going on to a Ecmo Machine.
While she is still here fighting, They still have hope, Their lives have been literally turnt upside down.
We pray we can win this huge battle

While Beatrix is fighting, both parents rightly so want to be by her side, but still have a home to run.

With Luke being a self employed plasterer & Keira being a stay at home mum, they are now not bringing in any income, struggling to pay their bills due to wanting to spend time with their precious little girl. this unfortunately also comes with a financial burden making things extremely difficult for the family.

If you can spare a bit so they can stay by her side it would be so grateful

Thank You

Happy 1st Birthday Beatrix ❤️

Would like to thank everyone for their kindness so far means a lot ❤️
