Lyrik Place is not just a house it’s a HOME

All my life my mother has help kids that were less fortunate and didn't have parents to support them. I've seen her feed kids, give them clothes and even allowed them to live with us when they needed a place to stay. I had a ton of brothers and sisters growing up because my mom was everyone mom that came in contact with her. From that experience I learned it's best to give than to receive. I see how blessed I was to have a mother with a loving heart. As I grew older I found myself doing the same things as my mother. Providing youth with clothes, food, etc. It brings joy to my heart to know God is using me to be a blessing to others and especially our youth. My passion is working with teenagers and I've been working with them for over 10 years. God gave me a vision to have a transitional home for young girls in Africa. The transitional home will provide young girls with a place to call home and resources to help them transition into independent living. I'm naming it Lyrik Place because I've always said if I had a child I would name my child Lyrik but because the Lord haven't blessed me with children I decided to name my center Lyrik. I will treat my center as if it's my child. I will love it, care for it and make sure it grows to be the best that God has intended it to be. God has provided me with a place but it's not free. I know God will provide away so I'm putting my faith in him. Please support and be a blessing not to me but to the Children.
